26 Mumbai Vaccine Centres Shut, Maharashtra Flags After Centre's Charge

Twenty-six vaccination centres have been shut in Mumbai, Maharashtra said today, adding that they are waiting for more vaccine doses from the Centre and the Union health ministry has been informed. Of the centres that shut, 23 centres are located in Navi Mumbai. Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar has spoken to Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on the issue.

As per news report of NDTV, vaccination was halted in parts of the state last evening. "Satara, Sangli, Panvel have stopped vaccinations," state health minister Rajesh Tope said. Pune also shut over 100 vaccination centres because of vaccine shortage, Nationalist Congress Party MP Supriya Sule had tweeted.
