12 peoplekilled after bus falls into gorge in Himachal’s Kullu

As per news report ofThe Indian Express,twelve people, including school children, were killed and three injured after a private bus they were travelling in fell into a gorge near Kullu in Himachal Pradesh Monday morning, according to officials.

According to the police, the bus was travelling from Shamshad to Sainj when it plunged more than 100 metres into the gorge situated in the vicinity of Jangla village.“We received information that a bus has fallen off the road into a gorge in Jangla. Rescue operations were initiated and we found that 12 persons had died. Three persons have been rushed to Sainj where they are currently receiving treatment,” said a police spokesperson.
