6 Arrested In Mule Account Fraud In Assam, Suspected Pak Links Probed

The STF suspects that the network was being coordinated by a key operator based outside Assam, who allegedly directed other members involved in handling the bank accounts and transactions.

As per news report of NDTV,Six people have been arrested by the Assam Police Special Task Force (STF) in connection with an alleged financial fraud network that used mule bank accounts to route money from suspected fraudulent transactions. The STF is also investigating possible links between the network and Pakistan Intelligence Operatives (PIOs).
