Amit Shah meets injured police personnel; look out circular against leaders named in FIRs

Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited two hospitals in the national capital where the police personnel who were injured in the violence are being treated. "We are proud of their courage and bravery," he said.

As per news report of The Indian Express, the Delhi Police Thursday issued a look out circular against the farmer leaders named in the 25 FIRs registered following the violence in the national capital on Republic Day. The leaders were also asked to surrender their passports. Over 30 leaders, who have been in talks with the Centre for the last two months over the three farm laws, were booked for rioting, criminal conspiracy, attempt to murder and robbery. The police said “the rioters/protesters and their leaders had a pre-planned objective of not following the mutually agreed route” leading to the violence. At least 19 people have been arrested and 50 detained in connection with the violence so far.
