And – the Orleans Parish Assessor’s office gets caught defending a business tax policy that his staff later said was never really an active policy. Michael Isaac Stein explains.

Also: the residents of Gordon Plaza – whose homes were built on the Agriculture Street Landfill – went to City Hall this week to press Mayor LaToya Cantrell on what they say are unkept promises.
