As per news report of NDTV,Cyclone Fengal - pronounced 'Feinjal' - is likely to make a landfall this afternoon between Karaikal and Mahabalipuram with a wind speed of 70-80 km per hour, gusting up to 90 kmph, the Indian Meteorological Department said. Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore districts, and Puducherry are bracing for heavy rain. Flights connecting Chennai have been impacted due to the adverse weather.
