Delhi 10 pm To 5 am Night Curfew From Today. See Who Is Exempt

Delhi today imposed a night curfew till April 30 to tackle a steep rise in Covid infections and a day after the country reported over 1 lakh cases in a single day. The "sudden increase in Covid-19 cases" and "high positivity rate" meant a night curfew was needed, the Delhi Government said in its order.

As per news report of NDTV, during night curfew hours, those going for vaccinations and the movement of essential services will be allowed with e-passes, officials said. Private doctors, nurses, other medical staff and journalists will be allowed on the streets with ID cards. Exceptions will also be made for pregnant women and those needing treatment.
