Delhi court stays proceedings against Satyendar Jain

A Delhi court Monday stayed the proceedings in a money laundering case against AAP leader and former minister Satyendar Jain following an application filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking transfer of the entire proceedings from a special court.

As per news report of The Indian Express, on September 15, ED Additional Solicitor General (ASG) S V Raju had moved an application seeking transfer of the proceedings from the court of Special Judge Geetanjali Goel. The bail hearing was in its final stages with Jain’s lawyers wrapping up their arguments, and the ED seeking an additional date to address further arguments.
