Petrol pump dealers are seeking a complete exemption from the proposed 0.4% MDR on UPI fuel payments and may stop accepting UPI transactions above Rs 2,000 from October 15.

As per news report of NDTV,Petrol pump dealers in Madhya Pradesh and other parts of the country have raised concerns over the proposed merchant discount rate (MDR) on UPI transactions, with some dealers warning that they may stop accepting UPI payments above Rs 2,000 from October 15.
