An official said the disruption was triggered due to a technical fault, which led to an oil leak and subsequent blast in the transfer circuit.

As per news report of NDTV,Gurugram faced a major power outage on Friday evening as the electricity grid collapsed after a transformer blew up in Sector 72. The power outage also disrupted rapid metro services for nearly an hour, leaving dozens of passengers stranded inside a metro.
