As per news report of NDTV,Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his entrepreneur wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, have assets worth Rs 35.16 crore. The 57-year-old chief minister, in his affidavit filed for his nomination as a BJP candidate for the Jalukbari constituency on Friday, submitted that he possesses only movable assets, pegged at Rs 2.36 crore in 2026, compared to Rs 1.72 crore in 2021.
