India extends OCI re-issue deadline to December 31
The Embassy of India Abu Dhabi announced, in the wake of the travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, that Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders will be granted extension time until December 31, 2020, to register for re-issuance of the privilege card. With the OCI card, people of Indian origin can travel visa-free to India from anywhere in the world.

As per news report of Khaleej Times, however, registration is required for OCI card to be re-issued each time a new passport is issued up to the age of 20, and once after the age of 50, the Embassy of India Abu Dhabi statement read.
