Kremlin Covid outbreak: Dozens of Russian government staff have tested positive

The coronavirus outbreak that has forced Vladimir Putin into self-isolation is far worse than previously reported, the Russian president has explained, with the disease apparently spreading like wildfire throughout the Kremlin.

As per news report of Rt.com, speaking via video-link on Thursday morning, Putin told fellow world leaders why he was unable to join a meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in the Tajik capital Dushanbe in person. "This is because of the fact that in my immediate circle, as you know, cases of coronavirus have been identified, and this isn't just one or two people, but several dozen," he said.
