Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah expressed "deep concern" over the ban, calling it an "abrupt and unilateral move" that has severely impacted mango farmers in Karnataka's border regions.

As per news report of NDTV,Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are engaged in a political standoff over mangoes, with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah writing to his Andhra counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu, urging him to revoke the ban on the entry of Totapuri mangoes from the Chittoor district. The move comes just two days after Karnataka's Chief Secretary formally raised the issue with the Andhra Pradesh government.
