NASA Begins Testing Electric Air Taxi

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has begun testing an all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with Joby Aviation to serve as an air taxi in a bid to add another mode of transportation for moving people and goods.

As per news report of NDTV, it is the first time that NASA has carried out a test on an eVTOL aircraft as part of its Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) National Campaign. The agency will continue the testing till Friday, September 10, at Joby's Electric Flight Base located near Big Sur, California.
