PM In Flurry Of Meetings As Government Goes Into Emergency Mode

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding several back to back meetings to discuss the coronavirus crisis in the country as India battles an unprecedented surge in cases that saw a new record daily high today with over 2.73 lakh fresh infections.

As per news report of NDTV, the PM's first meeting began at around 11.30 am today, hours after India crossed another grim milestone to report the highest surge in cases ever from the beginning of the pandemic last year.The Prime Minister will also interact with top doctors from across the country via video conference on the crisis at 4:30 pm. At 6pm, he will hold another video meet with top pharma companies.
