“PM Modi Called…”: Trump’s New Claim on Stopping India-Pakistan Conflict

Donald Trump has repeated more than 60 times that he “helped settle” rising tensions between India and Pakistan in May this year, claiming he intervened to prevent the situation from escalating. However, India has consistently rejected these assertions, maintaining that no third-party — including the United States — was involved in the de-escalation process.

As per news report of NDTV,US President Donald Trump has claimed that he diffused tensions between India and Pakistan by warning both nations of a potential 350 per cent tariff on their goods. He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi called him afterward to assure that India and Pakistan “were not going to go to war.”
