As per news report of NDTV, "People looking for a quick, spontaneous revival of (the) GOP-led opposition based on #LakhimpurKheri incident are setting themselves up for a big disappointment. Unfortunately there are no quick fix solutions to the deep-rooted problems and structural weakness of GOP (sic)" Mr Kishor, 44, tweeted, as he referred to the detentions and arrests this week of top Congress leaders, protesting the eight deaths in the UP district. On Sunday, eight people, including four farmers, were run over by a car amid demonstrations by farmers against the visit of Union Minister Ajay Mishra and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. Ajay Mishra's son Ashish - accused of murders by farmers - is yet to be arrested. He skipped the first police questioning today.
