Punjab Must Bring Order To Stall Centre's BSF Move, Farm Laws: Akali Dal

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today asked the Congress government in Punjab to issue an executive order for non-implementation of the centre's move of extending the BSF's jurisdiction.

As per news report of NDTV, The opposition party further demanded that the Charanjit Singh Channi-led dispensation issue a similar executive decision to stop the implementation of the centre's three "black" farm laws. The party's core committee demanded the Punjab government issue executive orders directing its officers not to allow the implementation of the central decisions in the state, saying these fall under the state subjects in the Constitution of India, according to a party release here. The core committee meeting was chaired by party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal.
