Putin to hold talks with Turkey's Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold phone talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

As per news report of Rt.com, asked by Russian media on Sunday whether a rumored discussion would take place, the official said the conversation was “in the plans.” Earlier in the day, the Turkish president had announced talks with both Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky amid the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev. “I will have phone conversations with both Russia and Ukraine on Monday. We will continue to encourage the two parties to maintain channels of dialogue and diplomacy,” Erdogan stated.
