Raped, Throat Slit 5 Years Ago, Survivor Waits For Promised Education Fund

Five years after she was brutalised, there seems no end in sight for the Madhya Pradesh survivor's distress. Her family has alleged that the government is yet to pay their daughters' school fees that now run in lakhs.

As per news report of NDTV,She was gang-raped and left to die when she was only 7 years old. The then Madhya Pradesh government had promised her a better life, complete with proper housing and fully-funded education. Five years later, the survivor is still struggling and waiting for the current dispensation to fulfil the promises made by the previous government.
