Sourav Ganguly In ICU After Sudden Illness
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has been hospitalised in Kolkata after suddenly falling ill. The former India captain felt uneasy when he was at the gym, complaining of pain on his left arm, and was taken to Woodlands hospital in Kolkata.

New Delhi, 02 January 2021

As per news report of NDTV, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted to say that Ganguly suffered a "mild cardiac arrest" and wished him a speedy recovery. However, the hospital is yet to make an official statement. BCCI secretary Jay Shah and West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankar also wished the former captain well, revealing that he was in a stable condition.
