Street Protests, Legal Route: INDIA Bloc Turns Up Volume On Gyanesh Kumar

"Modi-ji enacted a law in 2023 granting legal protection to the Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners. They were given immunity not even enjoyed by the President of India or the Chief Justice of the country," Mallikarjun Kharge said.

As per news report of NDTV,The united Opposition's campaign against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar will move on parallel platforms starting today. While the Opposition will continue the battle onto streets -- boosted by the the Supreme Court's direction to restore normalcy and bar illegal detentions -- it is also taking the legal route, questioning the law that provides immunity to Election Commissioners from any penal action.
