Fifteen years ago, another woman, from within the system, was caught at the centre of a shocking espionage scandal. Madhuri Gupta, a mid-level diplomat stationed in Islamabad, was accused of secretly serving the interests of Pakistan's notorious Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
