As per news report of NDTV,The Supreme Court, while terming Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi's decision to withhold assent to 10 key Bills "illegal" and "arbitrary", laid down timelines to clear Bills. A maximum period of one month will be granted in case the Governor wants to withhold assent to the Bill and reserve it for consideration by the President with aid and advice of council of ministers.
