The Manipur government has asked the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to ban the World Kuki-Zo Intellectual Council (WKZIC) under the anti-terror law UAPA, citing information about the group given by state intelligence operatives

As per news report of NDTV,Two senior members of a top civil society group of the Kuki-Zo tribes have refuted allegations made by the Manipur government that the "intellectual" group called for taking up arms in the state affected by ethnic violence.
