As per news report of Rt.com, the US military has ordered a temporary halt to some non-critical missions, in order to conduct a risk and error review, after a Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey, as well as Navy MH-60S Seahawk and a F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet all crashed within a single week in southern California.

“As a result of recent crashes involving US Navy and Marine Corps aircraft, Commander, Naval Air Forces has directed all non-deployed Navy aviation units to conduct a safety pause on June 13 in order to review risk-management practices and conduct training on threat and error-management processes,” a statement outlined on Saturday. Those units that are currently deployed have been ordered to conduct a similar safety pause “at the earliest possible opportunity,” the military added, emphasizing that ensuring the “safety of our people remains one of our top priorities.”
