As per news report of NDTV, The foreign relations committee of the US Senate today voted in favour of former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti becoming the ambassador of India. Mr Garcetti, who is Joe Biden's choice for the key envoy post, will now face a vote on the floor of the US Senate.
