As per news report of NDTV,Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar on Saturday said he was 'distressed' to read 'unfounded' speculations against him in the media after he failed to turn up at a scheduled event. Mr Pawar had recently differed from opposition parties who were targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his educational qualification. It is not right to question the degrees of ministers and that people should focus on what a leader has achieved in their tenure, he had said. His cancellation of programmes soon after, and the fact that he was unreachable on the phone, triggered speculation in political circles about his next move.
