Woman 'Not Guilty' For Husband's Suicide Over Marital Disputes: Bombay Court

The Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court noted that if a man dies by suicide due to marital differences, his wife cannot be held guilty of abetment to suicide.

As per news report of NDTV,In a landmark ruling on a man's death by suicide following long-standing marital disputes, the Bombay High Court said that the wife cannot be held responsible for it. The Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court noted that if a man dies by suicide due to domestic quarrels or marital differences, his wife cannot be held guilty of abetment to suicide under the law.
