Pushkar Singh Dhami To Take Oath As Uttarakhand Chief Minister Today

Pushkar Singh Dhami today is all set to take oath as the chief minister of Uttarakhand for a second term at Dehradun's Parade Ground in the presence of the top BJP brass.

As per news report of NDTV, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda are expected to attend Mr Dhami's swearing-in ceremony. Along with Mr Dhami, his cabinet will also be administered the oath today. Ahead of the oath ceremony, Mr Dhami offered prayers at Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple in Dehradun today. "I will be taking the oath today. People of the state gave us a two-thirds majority and today our government is officially going to be formed. May God remove all obstacles and our state may further progress," he said. Ending long suspense over the Chief Minister face, the BJP on Monday elected Mr Dhami as the leader of the legislature party in Uttarakhand.
